I love radio because you can be a part of people lives even though you've
never met them and there is no eye contact. You can become a friend,
someone folks trust and you can entertain, make people laugh and forget,
give them an escape. Radio is magic and can be bigger then life like the
circus, filled with show bizz and wonder.
Radio gave me an escape to. I had a schizophrenic mom and had to leave home
when I was a teenager. I spent a few years on the street and radio, the
dream of doing it is what kept me going. Dreams are powerful things and I
like to let you hear other people making their dreams come true with their
hard work and not giving up. I believe people can do anything if they work
hard and don't give up. Having a great time and appreciating life, family
and friends, living in the moment. This is the stuff that makes living fun
and worth it. If you've got your health you've pretty much got everything.
