BROOKINGS, S.D. - It's been 12 long years, but Rapid City Central finally ended their state gymnastics title drought by claiming the team title Friday.
The State Gymnastics tournament is taking place in Brookings.
Central claimed the bars and the vault with a score of 36.282 and 37.881.
Watertown edged out the Cobblers in the beam and the floor exercise.
Watertown, with those wins, claimed second place with Sioux Falls O'Gorman in third.
