Floyd L. Henrichsen, 91 of Rapid City, died January 27, 2012 at the Department of Veteran Affairs - Ft. Meade.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II from 1940 to 1945.
Survivors include three daughters, Ardena Ransom, Sioux Falls, Ronda (Joe) Trusty, Rapid City and Lyla (Sam)Henrichsen, Rapid City; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gilbert; his parents, Eric "Ed" and Pearl Henrichsen; one daughter, Lynn Hunter and three brothers, Wesley, Donald and Vearl Henrichsen.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with Chaplain (Ret.) Herb B. Cleveland officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rushmore VFW 1273 Honor Guard and the South Dakota National Guard.
